Robin Class 31/03/2023

Robin Class have not stopped this week! It has been a rollercoaster of fun and learning all week. We began the week looking at weight in maths and had fun using the balancing scales. On Tuesday we completed the next step in our art project and created bright flowers. Then on Thursday, we pieced together the background, a photo of ourselves and the flowers to create our own portraits in the style of Frida Kahlo - I think you'll agree, they look fabulous! On Wednesday we had our topic outcome day and this half term we had a mini history project. We travelled back in time on our time lines to the Iron Age and a time when Celts lived in round houses! We talked about the find on our school site when they were building the school and we then built our own round houses - with amazing backgrounds too! They were all unique and fabulous. On Thursday we made Easter cards and had a lovely end of term treat, thanks to the PTFA, where we decorated plant pots and planted sunflower seeds. We have decided that we are having a competition to see who can grow the tallest sunflower - make sure you send in photos of your sunflowers as they grow! Wow! Happy Easter everyone!
