As a school, we have been discovering what we mean by spirituality. We think about this in 4 main ways: through our own feelings, others' feelings, actions we could take and being a part of something bigger than ourselves. To help us make sense of this, we use the images of the mirror (evaluating our own feelings and ideas), window (evaluating the feelings of others and wondering what they might be...how and why could they be different to our own), door (how we respond to our feelings) and candle/light (knowing what are we part of...a feeling of belonging). In the reception classes they focus on the mirror, before delving deeper into the other areas of spirituality in Y1.
