Nursery Rhyme Week

Today was Day 1 of our Nursery Rhyme Week for Pipits, Wagtails and Owlets. We began by learning the classic rhyme 'Sing a Song of Sixpence.' The children enjoyed exploring the story within the rhyme through a variety of creative and hands-on activities. They made beautiful blackbird pictures, rescued hidden coins from the sand using magnets, and used their imaginations to draw other surprising items that might appear from a pie! To finish off the morning, the children crafted their own royal crowns, adding a touch of sparkle and fun to the day. We were also delighted to be joined by some of the 3- and 4-year-olds from Owlets, who shared in the excitement and helped make our first day of Nursery Rhyme Week extra special. Tomorrow we are exploring 'Humpty Dumpty'.
