In Wagtail Class this week, the children have been learning all about Remembrance Day. They have learnt that a red poppy is a symbol of both remembrance and hope for a peaceful future. The children have also learnt that poppies are worn as a show of support for the Armed Forces community.
We have been super creative and have had lots of fun making our own poppies. Everyone really enjoyed this and as you can see; the children wore their poppies with pride. What a super week we have had well done, Wagtails!
