11.25 hours per week; (11.30am to 1.45pm) Monday to Friday.

38 weeks per year (Term time only)

£17,364 (Pro Rata)

 

King Ina C of E Academy is a diverse, flourishing and vibrant new academy located in the small market town of Somerton.

 

We are looking for an experienced, energetic and enthusiastic person to be part of a team of catering staff lead by the School’s Catering Manager. Working at King Ina C of E Academy’s Infant Site, you will be responsible for setting and clearing up, serving lunches to pupils, staff and visitors.

Duties include:

  •                      Start of every day check fridge temperatures and record on sheet
  •                      Unload food boxes
  •                      Check temperature of food and record on temperature sheet
  •                      Serve food to correct portion size and quantity
  •                      Wash up and sterilize all plates, cutlery, serving tins and utensils
  •                      Clean down sinks, serving and kitchen area
  •                      Record and sign cleaning schedule for each job
  •                      Check and record end of day fridge temperatures
  •                      Follow Food Handling for Non-Production Kitchen Procedures
  •                      Understanding of health and hygiene

The successful candidate will need to hold a current certificate in Food Hygiene, if required, training can be provided online at school.

Lunchtime Supervisor

Lunchtime Supervisor/s – Casual Position/s across both sites

 

We are looking for enthusiastic Casual/Relief Lunchtime Supervisor/s to join our existing teams across both the Infant and Junior Sites.

 

The successful candidate/s will be required to ensure pupils’ safety and well-being at all times and to adhere to school procedures and policies.  The role will involve assisting with meal times and supervising children during play times.

 

Due to the nature of this position, you will often be asked if you are available to work at short notice. 

 

Session times are as follows:

Infants:          12noon – 1pm

Juniors:           12 noon – 1:30pm

 

Pay Grade 17 Point 1 (£9 + 12.1% holiday pay per hour)

Contract type:            Part time, 14 hours per week over 2 days, term time only

The Directors wish to appoint a new School Administration Officer to start in September 2019.

 

We are looking for a skilled, efficient and highly organised person to join our thriving school. The successful candidate will have responsibility for the management of pupil information, school meals, and will carry out secretarial and administration procedures to ensure smooth running of the school.
