The Archie Project

The Archie Project, an award-winning dementia awareness project that pairs local primary schools with dementia care homes in their local community. Our school has been paired with Immacolata House in Langport, which currently provides care for 38 residents with dementia.

The Project is run and funded by Somerset based charity Reminiscence Learning and aims to raise awareness of dementia among children and their families, giving them the tools to relate better to grandparents, parents or other family members and friends with dementia.

Peregrines and Kestrels have been on the first vist and had lots of fun.
